2023 Asian Games

Nadeesha Dilhani Lekamge won the silver medal in the women’s javelin throw event at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. She won the silver with an impressive throw of 61.57m which is also her personal best. This is the first athletics medal for Sri Lanka at the Asian Game in 17 years. 

Asian Games Women’s Cricket Competition

After nine years in the history of the Asian Games, Sri Lanka’s women’s cricket team led by Chamari Athapaththu won the silver medal. In the final of the 19th Asian Games women’s cricket event held in Hangzhou, China.

47th National Sports Games
